Day 01:

Destination: Nairobi –

The Green City Under The Sun

Accommodation: Hemingway’s Nairobi

Giraffe Manor

Activity:

Arrive at: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Meet & greet us.

Visit the Giraffe Center.

Transferred you to your Hotel.

Meals: Dinner

Your host from WildTrek Safaris will be at hand when you arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and will receive you with a warm welcome to Nairobi. East Africa's most cosmopolitan city, Nairobi is Kenya's beating heart, an exciting, maddening concrete jungle that jarringly counterpoints the untrammelled natural beauty to be found elsewhere in the country. The city's charms include a vibrant cultural life, fabulous places to eat, an exciting nightlife, a fabulous national park on its doorstep, some wildlife-centric attractions, the excellent National Museum and a series of quirky sights.

After a briefing, you will be taken for a visit to the Giraffe Center where you will get an opportunity to get close to and hand feed a Giraffe. Thereafter, you will then be transferred for Dinner and Overnight to the hotel booked for you.

Day 02:

Destination:

Lake Nakuru / Lake Elementaita

Accommodation:

The Cliff / Lake Elementaita Serena Camp

Activity:

Drive to Lake Nakuru /Lake Elementaita. Afternoon Game Drive

Meals : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast you will be driven to Lake Nakuru/Lake Elementaita (Approx. 160 Km / 2.5hrs). You will arrive to a warm welcome followed by Lunch.

After Lunch and a short rest, head for a Game Drive at the shores of Lake Nakuru / Lake Elementaita, which are considered as an ornithologists’ paradise. The parks are gorgeous year-round and are home to lions, leopards, buffalos and endangered Rothschild's giraffes among many others.Back to the lodge/camp for Dinner and Overnight.

*Children under 3yrs are not allowed at Lake Elementaita Serena /The Cliff unless prior approval is gotten from the management. Chui Lodge / Loldia Camp will be used instead.

Day 03:

Destination:

Nairobi – The Green City in the Sun

Accommodation:

Hemingways Nairobi / Emakoko

Activity:

Drive to Nairobi. Visit the Elephant Orphanage. Game Drive at the Nairobi National Park.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After an early Breakfast, drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for a visit to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (1100-1200hrs) where you get to learn about the efforts being put into Elephant and Rhino Conservation by this trust.

Thereafter, head for Lunch followed by an Afternoon Game Drive at the Nairobi National Park which is Kenya’s most accessible yet incongruous safari experience.

Set on the city’s southern outskirts, Nairobi National Park (at 117 sq km, one of Africa’s smallest parks) has abundant wildlife that can, in places, be viewed against a backdrop of city skyscrapers and planes coming in to land – it's one of the only national parks on earth bordering a capital city. Remarkably, the animals seem utterly unperturbed by it all.

Day 04:

Destination: Nairobi

Activity:

Lunch at the Carnivore.

Lunch: will be at the renowned:

Carnivore Restaurant.

Transferred you to the Airport for your

Departure Flight Home.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

A day that seemed a long way off just a few short days ago has come much too soon. Business, work and home await and it is time to return to that otherworld and bid you’re newly made friends in Kenya goodbye.

After you enjoy breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred for:

Lunch will be served at the world-renowned Carnivore Restaurant.

The“Carnivore Restaurant” serves up Kenya's most famous Nyama Choma (barbecued meat).

At the entrance is a huge barbecue pit laden with real swords of beef, lamb, chicken, farmed game meats such as crocodile, rabbit, ostrich etc. The experience works on a simple all-you-can-eat basis: as long as the paper flag on your table is flying, beautifully attired waiters will keep bringing the meat, which is carved right at the table.

A good variety is also available for vegetarians.

Thereafter, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will connect with your outbound flight, carrying a lifetime of memories from your Wild Trek Safari Kenyan tour back with you.
